the bridal shower invitation
{break from bachelorette party pix – 57 days to go!}
The excitement NEVER ceases to end, I am totally on an adrenaline high these last few weeks and probably will be for the rest of the time leading up to the wedding. We just sent out our wedding invitations which I am sooo excited to blog about, but it’ll have to wait since guests are still receiving them.
My bridal shower is at the end of this month. The event is being orchestrated by Gwen Huyen and hosted by all my bridesmaids. Invites were extended to approximately 30 special ladies. The theme: Vivacious Veils & Lovely Laces. Can you say SEXXAYY?!? Guests are requested to wear a veiled hair piece and lace clothing.
And the invitation…is to DIE FOR! I’m honored to show off yet another beautiful creation by Boumy Funes. She concepted and created them herself. If you’re in need of some custom, beautiful, detailed invites–let me know and I can refer you on!
The batch of invites before being mailed off. I LOVE the gold envelopes. Pops and sticks with our wedding colors. The King and Queen love stamps are also a fab touch. Boumy is just so awesome and detailed in that way.
Couture bridal stamp is SOOO fantabulous! Don’t miss those blingin’ brads.
The bride and the words “you’re invited” are embossed (raised) in black.
Details of the event inside the matchstick book.
Don’t you la-la-LOVE the lace detailing inside? Goes with the theme!
I have my white lace mini-dress outfit ready, hair and make-up services lined up, white birdcage veil, and fabulous red Valentino heels (an early bridal shower gift from my sis and bridesmaid, KimChi). Can’t wait to see what all the ladies come up with for their outfits and especially what the bridesmaids have in store that day. *adrenaline excitement high is pretty high; hope i don’t get a heart attack before the wedding*

Gwen Huyen, one of my bridesmaids, and Boumy, one of my dear friends, are collaborating on planning my bridal shower. It isn’t happening until late June but these gals are already on it! Last week guests were sent a sneak peek / save the date card to the all girls soiree. Boumy designed the invitation with a Stampin’ Up stamp set called “For the Bride”. How suitable is that!?! She had the gracious help of Steph and Jen in putting them together.
I love the purple bling.
Look at how cute the flower holds down the flap to reveal the details.
Check out the stack of sneak peeks before they were sent off.
Boumy hand wrote each guest’s name and address.
Very Vanilla paper along with Elegant Eggplant Purple ink from Stampin’ Up was used. Gold paper is from Paper Source. The flower punch is from Martha Stewart.
I feel so blessed and like the luckiest gal alive to have such great girl friends.
