the flowergirls
Back in May we blogged about the details of the flowergirls’ attire. I’m so excited to show you guys how they turned out on our 3 nieces.
Emma, Elise, and Charlotte. Aren’t they a sassy bunch?!?
This is Elise in the morning with her hair just perfect.
Each girl carried a ‘magical’ flower wand.
Here they are at the church ceremony with their wands. Elise’s hair is a bit flat by now. How can you blame a 3 year old who needs her naps to keep up with her hair?
So cute–the 3 sitting in the front row.
Detail shots.
Love this sequence of Elise running to hug me after we walked back up the aisle at the end of our ceremony.
She loves me. =) I’m one happy Godmother.
All 3 got along so well.
A cute tush shot.
I kinda have a secret wish to wear an outfit like this someday. Halloween? Theme party anybody?

86 days to go.
While doing my typical web surfing of blogs from a handful of photographers I admire, I ran into a photo from the becker that really caught my eye. These flowergirls are so adorable in their tutu’s and are so different than your typical flower girl attire that I had to dress my 3 little ladies in the same way.
The tutu’s I got from the same seller on Etsy: Ruffles & Stitches. The colors are modified from ivory to champagne and the strips of orange are also lighter. The under layer of olive green and chocolate brown ribbon to tie are the same.
These cardigans from Bonnie Jean I found 2 on Amazon for only $10 each and had to find the larger size elsewhere to fit my oldest flowergirl.
These burgunday tank leotards are perfect for the hot July weather purchased from Discount Dance Supply. The girls can take off their cardigans and still be cool in a tank, but can put their cardigans on during the evening hours when it might get a little chilly. Ivory pantyhose are from Nordstrom to match their cardigans: 3 for $10.
These ultra cute gold mary jane flats are from your local Payless store. I purchased them online with a coupon for a discount plus free shipping. Their feet should be plenty comfy for an all-day wear.
I’m still working on their headpiece and have not decided yet on what it should be. Any suggestions?
